Kathleen Bonistall

Kathleen BonistallDirector Kathleen Bonistall is also the current Executive Director of Peace Outside Campus - the Lindsey M. Bonistall Foundation. She was a grief counselor for the Hospice Program at Hackensack University Medical center, and has led art therapy groups for children and adolescents who have lost family members. She provided services in art therapy for children at Stamford Hospital. She has a M.A. degree in Art Therapy and Communication from the College of New Rochelle and was graduated with a BFA from The School of Visual Arts. She is a lifelong White Plains resident.

Chris Furtak

Chris FurtakTeacher Chris Furtak is currently a senior at the University of Connecticut majoring in History and Education and minoring in Sociology and English. At UConn, Chris plays club ice hockey and tutors students enrolled in the Storrs/Mansfield public schools. While attending Manhattanville College, Chris was a freshman orientation advisor for 2 years, played Varsity Ice Hockey and Lacrosse, and mentored students in various programs in Port Chester and White Plains. During high school, Chris actively participated in the the following: Connecticut State Latin Club, New Fairfield High School DECA program, Varsity Ice Hockey Team (4 years), Captain (2 years). He was also a Youth Summer Hockey Camp instructor (8 years) and youth hockey coach (4 years). He has logged over 70 hours of field experience in K-12 schools in Westchester and Connecticut. Interests include athletic events, the arts, music, science, architecture, automobiles, education, photography, computer technology. As a future future educator, Chris's mission is to promote the success of all children, promote positive peer relationships and mentor students in maintaining and promoting a positive attitude and self-awareness. He is our current substitute teacher
